This story is only one of dozens from my life regarding personal items suddenly vanishing and re-appear or are found in strange places way later. People whom have been a large factor in my life have also been "victim" to the pranksters which follow me everywhere. This is one of the most interesting stories.
In the 2000's, I often worked in Bermuda for months at a time. When working out of country I really hated carrying lots of luggage so I would pack rather light using just one suitcase. I never took jewelry or anything of great personal value; except, one of two rings which had spiritual meaning to me for protection for my journey. On this trip, I took a silver ring which was a gift from my mother. The design and imagery on the ring is personal and has a lot to do with my oneness with nature.
During my stay in Bermuda, I wore my ring everyday always having it on me. On my last day on the island I packed my luggage and went to the airport. Check in was easy and fast, like always. As soon as I got off the airplane back at home I realized that my ring was gone. I was not wearing it and honestly don't remember putting it on in the morning. When I got home I quickly unpacked and searched high and low and could not find my ring anywhere. I searched every pocket of my clothes, every nook in my luggage and everything that was with me on the trip; I could not find it. Now I got worried that it was lost on the island. I checked the house next in every possible place in case I dropped in walking in and I found nothing.
Being the same day that I came home, I started making the phone calls. First I called my friend in Bermuda whom I stayed with throughout my trip. He searched everywhere and found nothing. I called the Bermuda airport and they reported nothing being found. I called the airlines and they said nothing was found in the plane or the baggage area. I now knew it was long gone. My last ditched effort was to ask the nature spirits (fae) which I regularly work with through ritual and daily life. After a month or so it never showed up so I figured it was gone and I forgot about it.
Advance a few months to December 21st (yes the Yule); I was heading out to a holiday party. It was a really cold night and I decided to wear my heavy winter coat. I pulled it out of my coat closet and put it on. I placed my hands in the pockets and to my surprise I felt something in the pocket. I pulled out my lost ring! I was stunned and had no clue where it came from and how it got there and why it was hidden there. I was so excited I told everyone that night and everyone was coming up wild theories; regardless, I was happy it was returned to me. I feel to this day it was my fae friends helping me out; then teasing me by hiding it. Glad its back.

My Theory on Bigfoot (2013)
I have my whole life loved the concept of Bigfoot (real or fake). I
myself have had odd experiences a few times with regards to possible
"one on one" encounters with a Bigfoot while working for a United States
Protected Wildlife Refuge. My encounters were not visual, but they were
very real, very close proximity and very unexplainable as anything
else. My theory below does not discuss stories of Bigfoot, videos of
Bigfoot or encounters with Bigfoot; it is purely my personal thoughts on
the reality of an upright, relic hominin in North America. My language is written "as if" Bigfoot is a reality (which I do believe is true).
Bigfoot (for lack of better names) is in fact a true living, breeding, upright hominin (1) which has existed side by side with Homo sapiens for ~250,000 years. I am assured to say that bigfoot is not a modern relative of modern man, but a distant relative which split from the evolutionary direct chain roughly 3.2 million years ago at Australopithecus afarensis. It is now proven as fact that many other upright hominins walked side by side with modern man, but had mild variations (Neanderthal, Floresiensis and Denisovian). Of the three known to have lived alongside modern man; Neanderthal may have lived up to 10,000 years ago or sooner. Denisovian is theorized to exist up to roughly 20,000 years ago eventually fully breeding the purity of the species out of existence by mating with modern man and Neanderthal. Floresiensis is believed to possibly have lived upwards of a hundred years ago or possibly still alive today in the deepest jungles of Indonesia, due to the protection of deep island isolation (2). I feel bigfoot has existed similarly as these other species, but its species was preserved due to its inherent separate genetics which made it incapable of inter-breeding. Explanations for the lack of advancements in tool usage may be equated to that of modern day gorillas and other primates; it is not needed for successful survival.
Bigfoot as termed modern day, is not in the Homo genus. Bigfoot is a modern relic from the Paranthropus lineage. The Paranthropus lived throughout Africa starting around 2.8 million years ago upwards to 1.3 million years ago. They were opportunistic omnivores which used undeveloped tools (stones for hammering and hunting, sticks for picking). Their appearance was visually that of a small bigfoot. They walked on two legs, flat footed, with a mid-dermal ridge break, and a unique gait. They are theorized to have lived completely in forested areas. No fossil record of ancestors on the chain have been discovered yet. I believe an unknown link evolved 1.3 million years ago and progressed northward through the Middle East into the dense forests of Southern Europe.

During this era, roughly 100,000 years ago, bigfoot gained its well known variability in traits. Himalayan yeti, Chinese yeren, North American sasquatch, Australian yowie are all similar, yet have variations in morphology. Variations are common among well distributed species of animals. Humans as an example; color, eyes, skin, height, build, hair, physical capabilities and instincts. The bigfoot species is every bit as differentiated as humans.
Mass migrations would likely have yeti or yeren migrating across the Bering land bridge during an ice age period ~50,000 years ago, thousands of years prior to modern man's adventure to North America. During the same period, oceans were 100's of feet lower than they are today due to mass glaciation to the north. Most of Indonesia and Australia were also connected by natural land bridges and shallow waterways which were used by yeren to migrate southward. The Yeti of the Himalayas remain the same as they are today. The Yeren of the vast wooded areas in China are the same as they were 50,000 years ago. The European bigfoot (which is vastly near extinction remained the earliest form of bigfoot). The Orang Pendik and Australian Yowie are a more modern variation of bigfoot. The North America sasquatch is also a newer variation of bigfoot.
Bigfoot at its earliest existence probably started its roots in Northern Europe and moved southward and westward towards Asia as the many ice ages advanced and retreated. There are no accounts, legends or evidence that bigfoot ever existed in Africa and South America which back my theory that bigfoot evolved in Europe. I feel bigfoot relatives living in Australia and the island chains in Southeast Asia are closely related to the European/ Asian/ North American bigfoot, but they have uniquely adapted to those environments. Why no evidence or record in South America or Africa? I am not sure; possibly too hot.

I would suggest that the bigfoot species outnumbered the early modern ancestors in North America 2 to 1 or maybe even more. As humans in North America remained hunter-gatherers it gave advantage to bigfoot to survive successfully and dominate. Around 6,000 years ago hunter-gatherers began shifting to agriculturalists and solitary. The solitary phase of North American mankind was the beginning of the end for bigfoot. Proven fact is agricultural based cultures become solitary and survival is easier and more successful. Breeding rises and success of offspring to survive rises many fold. After which culture bases spread outward expanding into large cultures which dominate the land and soon dominate the wildlife. Alteration of micro-ecosystems is extremely evident. When small ecosystems are altered to the advantage of mankind it is often to the grave disadvantage of much wildlife.

By 1,000 years ago there were many advanced large Native American cultural bases everywhere throughout North America. Bigfoot's were pushed into dense mountainous and deep riverine environments. By the time "white man" first came to North America; bigfoots were already in mid-decline, they had become the thing of legends and stories.
The bigfoot population became a relic species around 1900. White man had completely dominated coast to coast, plain to mountain, ocean to stream. I feel many Americans living in the mountains or dense forests knew of bigfoot as a rare species of wild creature that lived throughout North America prior to 1900, but it was little spoken of or recorded. As we stand today, I think there is a very limited amount of sasquatches left; probably 4000-5000 in all of North America. There are a few large breeding pockets (cultures) of bigfoot throughout all of North America. From these cultural pockets some bigfoots will wander off hundreds of miles for many years. Possibly for hunting, growing, maturing, safety, less competition or for just adventure to gain knowledge. Wandering sasquatches will return eventually to the large cultural pockets to breed and socialize.
An example of my "cultural pocket" theory is observed and proven to be reality for many hunter-gatherer societies throughout history. The example I will give is one which I have studied and observed and compared to exact early Paleo-man patterns. Eastern/ Northern Ohio I think is a dense cultural pocket. It is safe, full of dense forests, plenty of food, tons of shelter, and not many humans. A great number of bigfoot reside here, breed here, and migrate in and out of here. Sighting throughout the past 60 years show this dense pocket in Ohio and sightings trickle outward along rivers into states to the east, west and south. These far off sightings are those wandering specimens that will go off for years.
Over the past 30 years, development has grown vastly in North America. Forests have been destroyed and rivers have been cut off by dams, factories and large housing complexes. These were"highways" and food grounds for many bigfoots, but now are a great majority gone. As we have expanded, sasquatches are now near extinction. The anchor cultural hubs for bigfoots in the next 50 years will be relegated to a few remote spots worldwide. I seriously believe that the North American bigfoot will end up only existing in Northern Canada by late 21st century. This great creature will become another extinct species in the 22nd century.

This dream I just had the other evening. It was very similar to other prophetic dreams I have had over the years regarding the ancient Greek and Roman era. In these dreams I am myself, yet I am always observing or doing some sort of interactive work with people of that ancient era. Sometimes I am working with gods and demi-gods; and at other times I am just working in places of importance from the classical period. This is one I found rather intriguing.
I found myself sitting at a large, very long table in a massive room. The room was full of large marble pillars holding the ceiling up. The walls were full of shelves loaded with rolled up scrolls and large stacks of papyrus and maps. There were lots of beautiful ancient Greek and Egyptian style amphoras stacked upon the shelves and lining the corners of the walls. I realized this was an ancient library.
After observing the room and settling in I knew I was there for some reason and I quickly got my answer. An old, tan skinned man in off white robes with a long white beard and balding head approached me. A very attractive tanned, wavy blonde haired, rather short, young woman was following the man. She was holding an arm full of papyrus. He asked her to sit next to me and to place the papyrus scrolls on the table. The majority of the scrolls were blank and some appeared even older and very worn out. The worn out, old scrolls were full of ancient Greek text and some drawings. I knew now I was being given a job to do. The old man very kindly asked me to translate the scrolls to the young girl and then to duplicate the text onto the new blank papyrus pages. He said that she was to be my student as I was his student once.
The young woman started by trying to interpret the drawings .She asked me if, "Perephone was a giant snake?". I said, "No, she was the queen of the underworld. She was tricked and kidnapped by Hades, king of the underworld and he made her his wife. She was torn in her life. She loved ruling the souls of the dead, but missed her life in nature as a fore bringer of spring". At this point I knew that I was translating and replicating the story of Persephone on new papyrus scrolls for historical record. She next asked me, "Can't Persephone just leave?" I told her, "It is not possible to leave once you enter the underworld; however, there is two ways to be banished or removed from the underworld. The first way is to be sent out by Hades himself or the second way is for Hermes to enter and guide you out without Hades knowing. Persephone remains torn in her life and has never asked Hades to leave". She replied with, "Why would Hermes not help her?" I told her that, "Hermes has no invested interest in the subject." She said, "How do you know?" The next thing I responded with was powerful to me, myself, and made circles around my life. I told her, "Hermes is my father and I know his thoughts on many topics." Throughout my life my patron deity is Pan whom I have a oneness with and know that I am a living embodiment of. Pan is the son of Hermes.
After we finished our work I stood up and walked to the front of the library to seek out the old man which gave me the instructions. I found him at the very front of the library at a massive table full of written scrolls, maps and strange objects. He peacefully stood up and said, "Thank you for your service to the Library of Alexandria. May our works live on endlessly to record the true history of mankind for the gods." At that point I awoke from my dream feeling very peaceful and relaxed.

Things to Ponder
Lately I have been questioning a few things regarding the paranormal world which I have observed on TV or through books or through my own life's observations. These are nothing more than a few variables to ponder.
The Witching Hour is a modern day term deemed at first by the Witchcraft community. It has quickly become an accepted term in the paranormal "ghost" community. It is defined simply as the most powerful time of the day in which entities of all paranormal forms (demons, spirits, etc) may "access" the physical plane of existence in which we humans live daily. The hours are defined as 3am-4am worldwide.
Question: How does day light savings play into this? As believers in the witching hour say it is always the 3am hour year around; however, would not day light savings bump the witching hour back to the 2am hour? Or do spirits and demons respect our clock changes? This opens up a huge Pandora's box of questions. Are spirits and demons subject to a time frame created by mankind on a plane in which they do not exist?
Ghost Hunters brought serious attention worldwide to the ghost hunting experience and reality of ghosts. Many shows spawned from this original show and I have noticed a repeated error over the past decade with all of these shows.
Observation: 1) When these teams are in non-English speaking foreign countries hunting ghosts they speak English to lure the ghosts or to get EVPs. They often get evidence and claim it to be a ghost, yet how would an ancient ghost understand not only English, but modern English and speak English. It was extremely uncommon prior to the 19th century for anyone to speak multiple languages, education and need was just not there for the everyday person. They got some EVPs which they interpreted as Spanish for meaning... Impossible, Mayan's did not ever speak Spanish, they spoke Mayan which is nothing even close to Spanish. The second example was an episode on Easter Island and the investigators were speaking English. They got a few EVPs which they claimed said "help" and "leave" in English.
2) Ghost investigators repeatedly on all shows ask spirits to "talk into this recorder". How would any spirit possibly know what a voice recorder is if they were from anytime prior to the early 19th century?
Reincarnation or Spirits Visiting is a deep question and has so many variables and explanations; however, many faiths believe in reincarnation and the fact that family spirits still visit or can be summoned. This is a tough one but worth exploring in your own mind. Playing devil's advocate I offer the following.
Questions to ponder: 1) Often people say that their paranormal experience was a deceased family relative paying a visit. Mediums claim to openly talk to deceased spirits for people. So if so many family members can still be contacted via mediums would that dispute that reincarnation is bogus? When people claim and old deceased relative visits in spirit that would also defend that reincarnation is fake. A defender would state that they have "not crossed over"; however, does it not seem odd that almost every person claims that family members in spirit visit over and over throughout the years? When people ask for help from a deceased family member would that not suggest that reincarnation is not real?
2) Many mainstream religions claim a deceased person goes to a peaceful "heaven" or "paradise". If this is so, reincarnation is impossible; yet, many religions believe solidly in reincarnation. A faith path cannot have it both ways. There must be a better, more feasible answer.
3) Faith's which summon old spirits obviously accept that reincarnation is not real. How could one summon or call for a deceased person if they have already been reincarnated?
4) For those who believe wholly in reincarnation would say some spirits have not crossed over; yet, those who have crossed over are reincarnated. This would suggest that there is no final resting place or paradise. A spirit is an energy which exists in an endless cycle of physical being.
5) If a person believes in neither reincarnation nor ghosts it could suggest one of the following: a energy form takes existence on the physical plane and deteriorates over time and dies or an energy takes on a physical form and dies in time leaving the energy form which resides off into a higher conscious or paradise. If this is so, than where does the spirit come from to exist within a living physical form on this plane and why would it do this?
I personally have my own theories on existence (physical and spiritual) as do many faiths. My purpose in this short post was just to throw deep questions out there which we should all ponder. I think that both reincarnation and ghosts are possible to co-exist and do. A future blog will offer my insights.
Time Travel is a concept which I have addressed before on my blog. I just want to re-post the simple facts.
Observations: 1) First answer this question: do you believe that time travel will ever be possible? If you say no... then read no further. If you say, yes? You understand that be 2,000 years in the future or 100,000 years in the future, time travel will easily be possible due to major evolution in technology or alien technology or relations with other worldly being or whatever; I would say you are brilliant and I agree with you!
2) So you said, yes? Then time travel is already possible and is occurring. It is real! We must understand though that time is constant in all directions. I don't want to go into deep physics, but the answers are out there. We presently cannot access time travel, because at our present vibration on the string of our plane of existence has not yet experienced the development of time travel yet. However, visitors in our distant future at some point have already created the ability of time travel and with that said... they are actively coming back to any point in time as they wish.
The Witching Hour is a modern day term deemed at first by the Witchcraft community. It has quickly become an accepted term in the paranormal "ghost" community. It is defined simply as the most powerful time of the day in which entities of all paranormal forms (demons, spirits, etc) may "access" the physical plane of existence in which we humans live daily. The hours are defined as 3am-4am worldwide.
Question: How does day light savings play into this? As believers in the witching hour say it is always the 3am hour year around; however, would not day light savings bump the witching hour back to the 2am hour? Or do spirits and demons respect our clock changes? This opens up a huge Pandora's box of questions. Are spirits and demons subject to a time frame created by mankind on a plane in which they do not exist?
Ghost Hunters brought serious attention worldwide to the ghost hunting experience and reality of ghosts. Many shows spawned from this original show and I have noticed a repeated error over the past decade with all of these shows.
