Around 2009, I started praying to Pan, Hermes and Penelopeia for a wonderful, yet quaint, home with land. I asked often for a modest acre of land with a stream cutting through the center and a forested portion that is private and a portion exposed to the sun for gardens. (I figured perfection for my needs would be privacy, silence, locations for meditation, shrines of respect, room to lounge freely outdoors; yet, modest). I Got it, in 2015!
It took some years, but odd situations aligned for me to achieve and find that prize. I in no exaggerating words got totally what I prayed for in detail. However, in that point of life I was knowing of the "gift" and where it derived from, but overtime I forgot the deal I had made with Pan, Hermes and Penelopeia. The original "trinity" as compared by many, written about 3,000+ years ago.They have all been a great part in my life and I have traits inherent from all three. But to the current...
From the first week in my new home, I experienced many multi dimensional experiences and ghostly activities. (My spiritual encounters and multi-dimensional experiences are in other blogs on my site). The multitude I feel were greetings two forms: the go away and this is my house form and the great to see you forms. I sorted them all out as far as I know to date... took 2 years. But this blog is about my dealings and failure to keep up my end of the deal.
In the Fall of 2016 I started experiencing deep, dark visits throughout the overnight hours. I could feel a heavy presence; but was unable to pinpoint it as spirit, fae, residual energy, demon or god. I dealt with this for a few months on and off. I even blessed the home again and flushed it of anything and everything, but to no avail.
Around March 2017 I began cluing into it via odd crossings of events, strange occurrences, strong dreams and physical reminders. It finally occurred to me that it was messages being sent from Pan, Hermes and Penelopeia. Each of them spoke to me in different ways constantly. Pan was in my dreams, Hermes was the strong presence in the home and Penelopeia was in the form of the many great trees on the property. Penelopeia was the intriguing one that she revealed herself via the great white oak and other trees on my property. Why? Because her father was the great Dryopos (The god of the forests of the world or green man). I knew at this point I had to get to work honoring them as I promised so many years prior.
The first, I believe I did without even knowing it when I bought my large Victorian era iron green man knocker that I placed on the great white oak tree directly behind my home. I even blessed it, dedicated it, used it and did some rituals before it. Penelopeia, likes this honor to her father, but still awaits her dedication. (I have still to create something of importance to recognize her and she lets me know daily).
The second, I did with temporary intent. I got my shrine to Pan setup outside. As soon as this was completed the warning like dreams ceased and were replaced with incredible dreams with Pan. I have even had my favorite dreams when I am Pan, in his place, through various locations and experiences.
My last, I have not done yet. It is for Hermes. I have a grandiose concept in mind and a location. He is no longer pressuring me and wandering my home late at night since I have shared my visions with him. I do feel he is standing close by though observing and patently waiting.
Final thoughts... make a deal... keep your end of it! Further review of this in the future as I finish the projects.
